Cativists Win One: The City's Cultural Heritage Commission voted 4-1 in favor of declaring Felix the Cat sign and Felix Chevrolet Showroom a cultural landmark. It's a major hurdle for those wanting the neon sign and adjoining building saved. It now moves forward to the Planning and Land Use Management Committee (PLUM) before being presented to City Council.
Add: The sign is covered in the LA Times: Catapulted to new heights.
