The Board of Directors for the newly formed Arts District Business Improvement District (BID) met for first time at the Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society (JEM) November 9. After the officers were chosen and goals were presented, the first order of business was selecting a color to identify the district. Inspired by the new Metro Line now under construction, gold was suggested and for now is the leading color of choice. Meetings are set for the first Wednesday of the month and there is opportunity for public commentary at the meetings for both agenda and non-agenda items.
