State of The Arts District

For years, the Arts District was one long neighborhood next to the Los Angeles River anchored by Bloom's General Store. Now the cluster of former warehouses form several junctions; Joel Bloom Square, The Barker Block, and Linear City. By this time next year the Gold Line Eastside Extension will be running and the Little Tokyo/Arts District Gold Line station at First and Alameda will be shaping more urban growth.
