Cue the Strikers
Monday saw writers with picket signs and bullhorns in Downtown Los Angeles where "CSI: NY" was filming on location outside the Hayward Hotel. Actor Gary Sinise walked across 6th Street to talk to the striking writers, in what must be a scene repeated all over town as some production continues with a few scripts left to shoot.
"Pretty soon, we will all be out of a job," Sinise joked with the writers, and after some more conversation, he returned to the set across the street. The WGA members gave him some applause as a thank-you.
Then while the crew set up set dressing, one writer on bullhorn duty said, "Cue the pigeons. Can we have the pigeons set their place on the gargoyle?" As a Mustang drove by the film location, honking it's horn and revving the engine, the writer bull horned "Cue the testerone."
I still say someone should collect all the YouTube clips from the writers strike and find a way to broadcast it. It's better than some of the stuff on TV.

Gary is the best of all CSI casts, no doubt about it. But I don't quite understand all that writers' picket thing, can anybody tell me what's it all about? I'm Polish, maybe that's why. I just adore Gary.
