Community Approval for One Santa Fe

The Los Angeles River Artist and Business Association (LARABA) voted to support One Santa Fe.

Still in session at this hour, LARABA will also include in the letter of support an acknowledgment that the neighborhood group known as "The Opposition" brought reasonable points concerning the mixed-use housing and planned retail project.  Planned to be built on 500,000 square feet of land currently used for MTA parking, and the street parking located on Santa Fe Ave from 1st to 3rd streets.

After a hour of public comments from a small group of community members, both supporting and opposing the project, LARABA broad member Tim Keating stated during the meeting that communication between MTA, and developers MacGregor Company, have been productive and made the motion for approval. It was passed unanimously

One Santa Fe will now go before the Los Angeles City Planning Commission for approval.
