Ice Cream (and 'Gina)
Tami, the owner and operator of Piccomolo Italian Ice Cream shop, was on site this afternoon as the Tofu Festival was setting up along her store at 2nd and San Pedro. She has been warned that there may be a small invasion of downtown bloggers and blog readers taking a break from the heat, the Tofu Festival, and Nisei Week this Sunday around 3pm. Rather than showing fearf, she was glad to know we picked Weller Court as the meeting ground, even if some preferred other outlets.
Also, Tami also mentioned she had a lot of referrals the first few days of her opening a few weeks ago. "Many people came, and told me they heard about us from what they called a 'blog'" and then asked "Do you know which one were from from Downtown?"
In this case, just about all of them.
