New Downtown Blogger*
"The Roosevelt" is now blogging from...the Roosevelt Lofts:
And what of life downtown? What's really going on near the corner of 7th and Flower in the heart of the Financial District? The Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Los Angeles Music Center, MOCA, it's all here and I want in. I want to know about it all.
* Add 931pm: Just got home and the post about a new blogger that I made just as the battery went out on the laptop is exposed as a fake by the E@B. Reading it, I was thinking some ad copywriter moved in. Now with second post, the blog talks about the how cool the Bontempi Kitchen is, and how a showroom in Beverly Hills gives you a chance to see it in person, in case you don't have time in Italy.
So, to those at the Roosevelt marketing department, send over something from "Italy's leading industrial companies in the furnishing sector offering high design and excellent value for homes around the world."
Add Add 9:57pm: Via LAO, Variety's Cynthia Littleton reported a bomb scare that was across the street from what was my former office (long ago). The warning about staying away from the windows would have been tough, since the office window faced the street. Later it was reported to be "just a briefcase". It's always smart to be cautious, even when a "suspicious package" is routine.
And that brings us to something for downtown bloggers to consider. Whenever a downtown blog looks fake, bloggers can call blogs like "'The Roosevelt & Downtown LA Living' a suspcious package.
i think you forgot the link.

We love the chatter, and appreciate the (gulp) comments. As we've continued to blog, we're finding our voice and starting to convert the skeptics into readers. Yes, we're releasing information as we can and it seems to stir up conversation. That's what we're trying to do. And listening is a big part of that. Stay tuned bloggers.

Nothing like a good downtown "stir-up."
