And the Stories Go On

The Garment & Citizen introduces two new columns and a new cartoon in this issue, kicking off 2007 with additional features to inform and entertain readers. The “Dot Dot Dash” column, which you will find on page 2, leads the way, offering observations and insights on the local art scene and the various commercial and cultural communities of Downtown and surrounding districts. Dot Dot Dash offers readers a succinct and current view from street level, with noteworthy reports sprinkled with well-known names and undiscovered gems worthy of consideration.
Dot Dot Dash is the work of Ed Fuentes, who serves as art director of the Garment & Citizen and authors ViewFromaLoft.typepad.com, an arts and culture blog serving the Downtown community.
