Urban Photo Adventures Urban Photo Seminar at Calumet Photographic
There is no improving upon the natural landscape. However, the urban
landscape provides images that can be just as beautiful, provocative,
compelling and even frightening. Sociological, historical and
environmental effects are in evidence around every corner; sometimes
all captured in one image. These images are all around us, hiding in
plain sight, in factories, farms and in neighborhoods we find ways to
avoid. Mark Indig and Ken Haber, partners in Urban Photo Adventures, explain how to navigate the urban
landscape and create art that speaks to the place in the evolution of
our culture. Learn to recognize and capture the sometimes unsettling
beauty that lies within the city. Mark Indig and Ken Haber’s
photographic work is currently on display at both Calumet Hollywood and Calumet Santa Ana locations. Upcoming seminar at Calumet Santa Ana: January 31st and March 7, 2009. Space is limited. Event details and reservations available at Calumet’s Event Listings at www.UrbanPhotoAdventures.com, or call (818) 760-7982.
